Kirstin aspires to make a difference in the health industry and has a passion for people.
NCAA Career: When she attended Bucknell, Kirstin had no intention of being a student-athlete. She walked onto the track team her sophomore year as a pole vaulter. She vaulted 10 feet 6 1/4 inches and began running with her distance teammates over the summer to stay in shape. She was convinced to run cross country during her Junior year and ended up switching exclusively to distance her Senior year specializing in the steeplechase. After graduating she pursued the marathon distance.
Kirstin's Goals: Running has helped Kirstin develop a lot as a person and has bolstered some of the most important relationships in her life. She would like to continue to improve at the marathon as well as shorter distances. She is very grateful for the opportunity to run and is excited to use it as a platform to give back to others.
