About Caleb: Caleb found great success his senior year in high school qualifying for the Nike Cross National meet and he realized that running was something he could be good at. After a very successful collegiate career Caleb decided to continue being competitive in both running and the Triathlon. In the Spring of 2015 he competed in a Clearmont EDR (Elite Development Race) where he finished 12th in the elite field with a time of 1:00:40 and had the 2nd fastest run of the day. He has tremendous talent and is an elite competitor.

NCAA Career: Caleb attended Liberty University where he went on to win multiple Big South Conference titles in the 1500m, 3k and 5k along with being a 12 time All Conference athlete. He was named to the USTFCCCA All-academic team in 2013 and 2014. He also was a CoSID of America Capital One Academic Division I All-American in 2014. During his Junior Year he broke the prestigious 14 minute barrier in the 5k at the Payton Jordan Invitational at Stanford University running 13:57.09. Caleb owns the Liberty Outdoor 3k school record as well.

Caleb's Goals: Caleb hopes to earn his Elite License (pro card) from USA Triathlon. This would allow him to compete in professional races as a Triathlete and pursue a higher level in U.S. and International Triathlon. Caleb also will begin Medical School at Columbia University in August, 2015 where his main goal will be earning his doctorate in medicine.

A WORD FROM THE COACH:

“I could not be happier to have Caleb joining Anchored Elite. He was a great teammate of mine at Liberty and always a joy to watch compete because of his tenacity and talent. I look forward to seeing what Caleb can do in the Triathlon and believe he can have great success in the new event. He is also probably the smartest person that I know and I can’t wait to see how much success he has as medical student at Columbia!”
